Semicoductor Automation Validation Platform
SAVP is a standardize automation platform for semiconductor post-silicon validation. It is powered by NI's LabVIEW and TestStand. It is extensively used in engineering bench labs, also can be used in manufacture massive production.
SAVP can help engineers easy and quickly to develop their automation validation projects. It was compised by components: EasyConfig, EasySweep, EasyLog, EasyNotice and EasyOrder.
EasyConfig
EasyConfig is easy and quick for configuring LabVIEW VIs. Configure TestStand variables or constants in VI front panel, then it will save the settings to TestStand sequence, so execute the sequence will use the settings. It is very useful when need to configure VIs which have complicated front panel. It will automatically to list all the installed Instruments drivers, and user can add their own modules which are used very often.
EasySweep
EasySweep is easy and quick for configuring the forcing conditions which will be applied to the silicon during validation. It is flexible to generate forcing condition combinations. It will automatically generate TestStand variables and update values in each iteration. In the sub sequence, can apply these variables to Instruments Driver VIs or other LabVIEW VIs, so that when exeuteing the sequence, that will sweep all the forcing condtions.
EasyLog
EasyLog is easy and quick to log measurements. It also will automatically log the DUT information, station name and forcing conditions. It saves data using standard text format in log file. It also has steps for saving waveforms or XY data as tdms format. These waveform files and any files can be as auxilary files in the log file.
EasyNotice
EasyNotice is easy and quick to send emails and phone text messages. It will be used in the sequence when exception happens or execution completed. Most of the cases are when the sequence will run long time, like overnight running, then engineers can work on other things, the EasyNotice will notice them when require engineer's help.
